Objective
The
goal of this activity is to develop, together with the Beneficiary
Country, a pilot E-marketing project focused on enhancing the image of
Jordan as a safe destination in key EU source markets. Detailed Activities - 3.2.1
A pilot e-marketing project was identified on the basis of the kind of
tourism the BC wishes to attract, given the cultural and geographical
characteristic of the Country. At this stage international trends in
tourism were examined in order to identify new sectors of development,
and to choose the one on which the BC wishes to concentrate

The Member State experts assisted the Beneficiary Country staff in the
definition of the contents for the E-marketing pilot project,
considering that the main aims of the e-marketing strategy were:
- customer acquisition
- customer loyalty
- strengthening of the Country brand
- 3.2.3
Jordan Tourism Board specialists were trained by the Member State
experts on how to create an effective web site strategy and on how to
revise it on the basis of the results achieved. The Member State experts
supported the Beneficiary staff on all technical aspects of the
implementation of the IT tools for the campaign, through on-the-job
coaching techniques. It was also discussed and established ethical
guidelines and frameworks to use when working with clients remotely
Results- A
pilot E-marketing project focused on enhancing the image of Jordan as a
destination suitable for all tourists is implemented by Jordan Tourism
Board experts.
